Entry-Point Security Diagnostic

Security Assessments

Before a full penetration test, you need to know where to look. HarLyn's Security Assessment is a fast, fixed-scope diagnostic that maps your attack surface, flags exposed credentials, and tells you what deserves deeper testing — the entry point into our security practice. Led by Cybersecurity Assurance Lead Nazline Mwita.

Where this fits

Security Assessment (diagnostic) → prioritized findings → Cybersecurity Audit / Security Architecture review / Data Protection engagement (as needed)

Frequently asked

What's the difference between a Security Assessment and a full Cybersecurity Audit?

A Security Assessment is the entry-point diagnostic — a fixed-scope, fast-turnaround review that maps your attack surface, flags obvious exposure, and tells you where deeper work is warranted. The full Cybersecurity Audit (OWASP Top 10 testing, network intrusion detection, penetration testing) goes deeper once the assessment has identified priority areas.

What does a Security Assessment cover?

A review of your externally visible attack surface, credential and secret exposure checks, SSL/TLS and HTTPS configuration, basic OWASP risk flags, and a prioritized list of what to fix first — delivered as part of the 48-Hour Secure Digital Workflow Assessment or as a standalone engagement.

How long does a Security Assessment take?

Typically 48-72 hours for the diagnostic pass, delivered with a written summary and a live debrief call.

Who leads Security Assessments at HarLyn Digital Partners?

Nazline Mwita, Co-Founder and Cybersecurity Assurance Lead, a CompTIA Security+ certified analyst. Her dedicated security-audit practice is also documented at nazlinemwita.co.ke.

What happens after the assessment?

You receive a prioritized findings report. If deeper testing is warranted, we scope a full Cybersecurity Audit, Security Architecture review, or Data Protection engagement based on what the assessment surfaced.
